6 killed as fire guts petrol-laden tanker in Jos
Six people have been killed and properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed as a petrol-laden tanker caught fire in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The petrol tanker which was gutted by fire on Thursday around Bauchi Junction, also left many people injured.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the tanker driver lost control of the brakes after falling into a ditch by the roadside.
The six dead persons were burnt beyond recognition, while a car, tricycle and some shops were also destroyed.
