Nasarawa To Address Illegal Recruitment Pf Teachers

Nasarawa State Government has warned that it will sanction individuals or groups who engage in illegal recruitment of teachers in the state.
Secretary to the State Government Mohammed Ubandoma Aliyu gave the indication while receiving report of a five man committee set up to investigate the allegation in Lafia.
The setting up of the committee chaired by the Permanent Secretary Nasarawa State Ministry of Education Mohammed Sani Bala followed the allegation of illegal recruitment of teachers by the Teacher’s Service Commission.
The Secretary to the State Government Aliyu Ubandoma appreciated the committee for taking up the assignment and promised to act accordingly if found wanting.
The Secretary encouraged the Teachers Service Commission to focus on its assigned schedules devoid of going beyond bound, saying any act contrary to that, would attract penalty from the government.
Earlier Chairmam of the committee Mohammed Sani Bala assured the committee’s readiness to handle any assign duties in the future towards assisting the government policies and programme for the develolpment of the state.
