England beat Nigeria 4-2 in quarter-final Match

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have lost to the Lionesses of England in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The match which lasted for 120 minutes, ended in penalties. With final score of 4-2.

The round of 16 game was goalless in normal and extra-time at the Brisbane Park.

At the end of the game England scored 4 goals at the penalty while Super Falcons scored 2.

This is the end of the road for super falcons in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

President Bola Tinubu has commended the efforts of the Super falcons at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The President on his official twitter page said the teams has made Nigeria proud on global stage.

”Your brilliant performance did not go unnoticed , despite the final outcome. You made Nigeria proud on the global stage” He said
