Kwara Govt Donates 500 Mattresses to NYSC

Kwara State Government has donated five hundred mattresses to the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC directorate in the state.
During the official presentation, Kwara State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mallam Usman Lade, said the gesture was borne out of the Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration’s commitment to the welfare of the youth.
Mallam Lade said the Governor, in line with his unflinching commitment to a holistic rehabilitation of the NYSC facilities, would continue to improve on the state permanent orientation camp to create conducive environment for the Youth Corps members.
Taking delivery of the mattresses, the Kwara State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Olaoluwa Onifade, appreciated Governor Abdulrazaq for his support to the scheme by prioritizing their welfare.
He said the items would go a long way to ease challenges faced by corps members on camp, promising that they would ensure properly use and maintenance to serve the main purpose of the donation.
Some of the Youth Corps members appreciated the kind gesture of the Kwara State government and promised to contribute meaningfully to the development of their host communities and the country at large through the scheme.
