Nasarawa Assembly gets new speaker, deputy
Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly have unanimously elected Hon. Danladi Jatau, who represents Kokona West Constituency as Speaker of the 7th Assembly.
This followed the Appeal Court judgement that sacked the former Speaker, Hon Ibrahim Abdullahi on November 28.
The Assembly also elected, Hon Mohammed Oyanki, member representing Doma North Constituency, as the Deputy Speaker.
Mr. Ibrahim Musa, the Acting Clerk of the House, performed the inauguration the speaker and his deputy on Friday at the Assembly complex on Friday in Lafia.
