Visit: FRCN DG Pledges Overhaul of Organization.
The Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Dr. Muhammad Bulama has expressed commitment to improve the operational capacity of the corporation for effective service delivery.
The Director General stated this during a working visit to Radio Nigeria Kaduna Zonal Station, in Kaduna.
In his presentation, the DG explained that, his agenda would focused on upgrading the corporation’s equipments, and installation of an alternative source of power for optimal productivity.
Dr. Muhammad Bulama who pledged radical overhaul of the broadcast organization, pointed out that his topmost priority will be the implementation of staff welfare packages, including allowances as at when due to ensure staff were motivated to deliver on their mandate.
While interacting with the staff of the corporation, he reaffirmed his commitment toward staff training and re-training to equip them with the requisite knowledge and skills in line with the global professional best practices.
The DG noted that, with the staff strength and wider reached of the corporation, it would be easier to be given the needed attention and political will to achieve its mandate.
The Director General said, he had zero tolerance for indiscipline and insubordination, hence the need for staff to see themselves as stakeholders in the reformation process by developing positive attitude toward work to justify the effort of government toward them.
The DG who was conducted round the facility in both Hausa and English services, including FM stations, pledged to do everything within his power to revive the station toward promoting growth and development of Nigeria.
