Parents To Play Active Role In Their Child’s Career Choices

Parents have been advised to guide their children in choosing the right career to enable them have a purposeful future.
Proprietress of Zita International School Lafia, Mrs Patricia Tsakpa gave the advice during the career day of the school in lafia.
Mrs Patricia Tsakpa emphasized that the career day offers an opportunity to educate the pupils on options and the right approach to become a professional in any given field of study.
She called on parents to support their children in choosing their career to enable them succeed.
Some Profeasionals, including a legal Practitioner, Elizabeth Audu, Doctor Amose Sakpa and a Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, Mr Agu Agabi,encouraged children to read hard and get themselves prepared to pursue their choosen career in future.
Some of the pupils, Amina Zakari and Ebeniza Luke appreciated the school and parents for guiding them on how to choose their careers, promising to not only read hard but excel and make them proud.
Highlights of the career day celebration were drama and display of careers by the pupils while the theme for the career day is determination.
