Noma Dadda’u Mairafi has emerged the new chairman of Nigeria Fityanul Islam Nasarawa State chapter.

This followed a resolution by Congress of the Association in Lafia the Nasarawa state capital.

The emergence of new a chairman, followed allegation of violation of the Constitution of the association and financial misappropriation by the ex-chairman Ahmed Idris Dimagani.

The congress meeting which was monitored by members of Board of Trustees and some elders of the association accused the outgoing chairman for engaging in unnecessary misunderstandings with other colleagues during meetings over minor issues that can be resolved amicably.

Other officials accused alongside the former chairman Ahmed Idris Dimagani include the Secretary, Vice Chairman and Financial Secretary.

Responding on the allegations on land papers and money belonging to the association in their possession they unanimously denied it and promised to present the land papers as well as give account of money in their custody to the congress.

In a remark, the newly elected chairman Ustaz Noma Dalhatu Mairafi promised to carry members along irrespective of all differences for the growth and development of Islam and Fityanul Islam in Nasarawa State and Nigeria as a whole.

Ustaz Noma Mairafi used the medium to call on members to prioritize the
demands of the association above their personal needs.
