INEC Expresses Satisfaction With Peaceful Conduct of Rerun Election

The independent National Electoral Commission INEC has expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the rerun election in six polling units of keana and Doma south constituencies of Nasarawa state
INEC Resident Electoral commissioner in the state Alhaji Shehu El wahab made this known after supervision of conduct of the exercise in 5 polling units of Agaza ward Keana state constituency and one polling unit Rukubi community of Doma south constituency.
He specifically commended supporters of the political parties for their orderliness and security personnel for professionalism during the election.
On his part the commissioner of police Umar Nadada also gave kudos to stakeholders for ensuring a hitch free rerun election .
Meanwhile collation of results from the one polling unit in Rukubi have commenced at the centre in Okpatta ..
Report from Keana also indicates that voting has ended and counting is ongoing.
