Precious FM Staff Forum
A Staff forum has been held at Precious FM lafia as part of the itinerary for the just concluded 12th Zonal Committee of Management meeting ZCOM which held in lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
Addressing the staff, the Zonal Director,North Central zone Mallam Haruna Idris urged the staff to be imbibe the culture of discipline, commitment and dedication to duty.
The Zonal Director explained that the interactive session with staff and the visiting General Managers was for them to meet and learn from one another.
Mallam Haruna Idris called on General Managers and Head of departments at the various FM stations in the zone to ensure that staff working under them take their job schedules seriously.
The Zonal Director assured staff of North Central Zone and the various unions that he will strive to ensure an improved welfare package and create a conducive working environment for them to Perform their duties effectively.
Earlier, General Manager of Radio Nigeria Precious FM Lafia, Alhaji Ibrahim Abimiku, highlighted some of the challenges facing the station and called on the Zonal Director assist in ameliorating them.
Alhaji Ibrahim Abimiku commended governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for his support to the station.
On their part, officials of the three inhouse Unions of precious FM Lafia, Madaki Member NUJ chairman, Aliyu Dogara Ibrahim of RATTAWU and Hadiza Umar, state NAWOJ Chairperson, all called for the provision of a welfare package for staff of the station.
Those who attended the meeting include, General Manager Harvest FM Makurdi, Mrs Christiana Odeh , GM Highland FM Jos, MS. Patience Jatau, GM prime FM Lokoja, Alhaji Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, GM Harmony FM Ilorin, Wahab Akoshile, Danjuma Akuki Deputy Director ICT, MR. Nma Ibrahim, Deputy Director Admin and Assistant Director News and Current Affairs Mr Shimataver Aondoakaa among others.
