FRSC to Establish Mobile Courts Nationwide to Enforce Traffic Rules

The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC says no fewer than Two Hundred Mobile Courts will be in session nationwide to enforce traffic rules and check the excesses of motorists during the Easter celebration.

Corps Marshal Dauda Ali-Biu who stated this in Abuja while speaking on a Four day FRSC Easter Special Patrol also directed all Commanding officers to ensure full deployment of personnel for effective traffic management during the operation.

According to the FRSC Corps Marshal, 743 patrol vehicles, 92 Ambulances , 23 tow trucks and 144 motor bikes have been mobilized and deployed as part of patrol logistics.

He stressed that a total of 23 Help Areas have been activated for prompt removal of obstructions while 15 traffic control camps have been opened for Twenty four hours operations at some identified gridlock areas across the country.

Dauda Ali-Biu assured motoring public that the Corps would carry out aggressive public education programs and strengthen its surveillance activities to regulate unprofessional excesses of motorists.

He noted that FRSC situation room at the headquarters Abuja would be opened for effective monitoring and collation to ease dissemination of information to relevant commands and stakeholders.
