British Government to Support Nigeria in Combating Security Challenges
The British Government says it will support Nigeria in combating it’s security challenges to accelerate national growth.
The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery stated the British position when he paid a courtesy visit on Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos
Mister Richard Montgomery described as unacceptable the high level of insecurity in the country and expressed confidence in the ability of the present administration to tackle the menace
The High commissioner also disclosed the signing of a renewed investment prospect with the Federal Government and pledged to collaborate with the Plateau State Government in improving agricultural production for the benefit of the people
Responding, Governor Caleb Mutfwang noted that Nigeria has a historical bilateral relationship with the British Government and assured of the readiness of the state to partner Britain for the attainment of peace.
He also solicited for collaboration in the education sector and pledged what he described as a robust and continuous relationship.
