Nasarawa First Lady Enjoins Women to Preach Peace Among People of the State

Nasarawa State First Lady Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule sued for peaceful coexistence among people of the state.

Hajiya Sule stated this when she hosted wives of State House of Assembly members led by the wife of the Speaker, Mrs Kaka Theresa Jatau and wives of the Commissioners led by the wife of the Commissioner for Justice, Mrs Maryam Haliru Tambuwal for a Ramadan fasting break at the Government house in lafia.

The First Lady noted that peace is key to achieving greatness in every society stressing the need for the spouses of the state legislators and commissioners to build on the enlightenment of people in their communities on the importance of peaceful coexistence.

Speaking, the Wife of the State speaker, Mrs Kaka Theresa Jatau and the leader of the wives of Commissioners, Mrs Maryam Haliru Tambuwal, assured Hajiya Sule of their unflinching support of the policies and programmes of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration.

They also commended the first lady for her commitment towards empowering the needy as well as according priority to Gender Based issues.
