Insecurity: Commander Charges Troops to Redouble Efforts.

The Commander 4 Special Forces Command of the Nigerian Army Doma in Nasarawa State Major General Hilary Nzan has called on troops to redouble their efforts in the fight against insurgency and other criminal activities around their areas to provide opportunities for uninterrupted development in all parts of the country.
Major Hilary Nzan made the call during operational visits to some of the formations under 4 Special forces commands in Kaduna and Bauchi States.
He explained that the spate of insecurity especially banditry and insurgency in parts of the country requires a high sense of doggedness, commitment and versatility to respond promptly to the criminal elements who are bent on unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens.
The Commander noted that troops of the Nigerian Army under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Toareeq Lagbaja had been motivated with renewed vigour to go after every group or individual whose activities were threatening the unity and territorial integrity of the nation.
Major Hilary Nzan emphasized the need for the troops to place priority on the unity of the country above every other interest and be upright, dedicated to upholding the principle of discipline at all times in discharging their duties to enhance productivity and optimal results.
In their separate remarks, the Commander 402 Special Forces Brigade Kaduna, Brigadier General Adeleye Lawal and the Commanding Officer 133 Special Forces Battalion Azare Bauchi State Lieutenant Colonel Fortune Atakele stated that troops of their various formations had continued to adopt new strategies for swift response to any acts of criminality within their areas.
The officers while commending the Commander 4 Special Forces Command for the visit pointed out that the interaction had inspired the troops to put in more effort in carrying out their duties.
During the visits, the commander, Major General Hilary Nzan commissioned some projects including office accommodations, an Observation post, the remodelled Officers’ Mess and a 16 thousand-capacity solar power borehole as well as a mini market named after him.
