Ministry for Humanitarian Services and NGO’s Commenced Humanitarian Day Celebration

Nigerians have been encouraged to empower themselves and those around them with great love and affection.
Nasarawa State Commissioner for Special Duties on Humanitarian Services and Non Governmental Organisations NGO’s, Princess Margaret Elayo gave the encouragement during a road walk organised by the Ministry as part of activities to mark this year’s World Humanitarian Day in Lafia.
Princess Margaret noted that people were passing through so many challenges in life as a result of current economic realities, and called on wealthy and spirited individuals to assist the vulnerable in the society.
Also speaking,State Commissioner for Justice,Mister Labaran Magaji pledged the state government’s commitment to protecting the rights of all citizens of the state without discrimination
The Ministry of Special Duties on Humanitarian Services and NGOs in company of Red Cross Society, Faith based Organisations, Corps Members, Health Personnel, Security Agencies among others visited the Ministries of Justce, Women Affairs and Social Development, Finance , Budget and Planning during the road walk.
