The Director General of FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama, stated this while receiving the Corps Marshal of FRSC, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, who paid a visit to the FRCN headquarters in Abuja.

Dr Bulama said the two leading government agencies have the responsibility of making the roads safer for socio-economic activities and national development.

The FRCN Director General while commending the Federal Road Safety Corps for the deployment of the new mobile Apps said all its zonal and FM stations across the country would be made available to educate road users on the need to abide by traffic rules and also provide necessary information that would enhance the operations of FRSC.

Dr Bulama assured that the corporation was ready to provide necessary assistance to all organisations towards the realization of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Earlier, the Corps Marshal FRSC, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, said the visit was to seek the support of FRCN as a partner in road management in reducing deaths and fatalities on Nigerian roads.

According to the FRSC Corps Marshal, the mobile application is designed to alert road users on any crash point ahead and provide opportunity for passengers to caution drivers engaging in suicidal over speeding.

He assured that FRSC would continue to cherish the relationship and contributions of Radio Nigeria towards achieving zero road crashes in Nigeria.
