Plateau State House of Assembly Appeals for Inclusion on Membership of FEC

The Plateau State House of Assembly has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to consider Plateau State on the membership of Federal Executive Council FEC.

Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Gabriel Dewan made the appeal during plenary

The Assembly Expressed worry over the non representation of the State in the Council where most decisions affecting the country is made.

Speaking to newsmen after the sitting Chairman House Standing Committee on information Matthew Kwarpo decried the absence of a representative of the State in the FEC pointing out that it has denied the state of its contribution to the development of the State.

The legislators called on all stakeholders to join hands in ensuring that Plateau State has a representative in the FEC.
