Teaching Hospital: Health Minister Presents Letter Of Approval To Emir Of Lafia
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Ali Pate, on Tuesday presented the letter of approval of the newly established Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital to the Emir of Lafia and the Chairman of Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, HRH Justice Muhammad Sidi Bage(rtd).
Pate was joined by Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada(SDP, Nasarawa West) to present the letter following the approval of President Bola Tinubu.
Former Governor, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura who represents Nasarawa South in the 9th Nigerian Senate had in 2021 sponsored a bill for the establishment of the Hospital which was assented into law by immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari.
