Governor Abdullahi Sule Commends Peacefull Conduct of Local Governments Elections

Nasarawa State governor Abdullahi Sule has expressed satisfaction with the maturity of electorates and the security Agencies for the smooth and seamless conduct of the local government Election across the State.

Governor Sule gave the Commendation while speaking to newsmen shortly after Casting his vote at a motor Park polling unit in his Country home Gudi, Akwanga local government area of the State.

Governor Sule who appreciated the show of maturity by the electorate during the conduct of the exercise also applauded the State independent Electoral Commission NASIEC for the timely distribution and release of the election materials to polling units across the State.

He however called on the candidates who may emerge as the winner of the polls to show high sense of responsibility and due diligence and embracing all and sun dry in the discharge of their assigned duties.

Also Speaking the State Commissioner of Police, Umar Shehu Nadada described the exercise as rancour free taking into account that the command had deployed about seven thousand officers and men to ensure free crime exercise across the State.
