FRCN Partners With Microsoft to Enhance Technology Skills Development

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN is partnering with Microsoft, a leading ICT company, to enhance skills development in Artificial Intelligence, AI and other technological innovations, as discussed during a courtesy visit by FRCN Director-General Dr. Mohammed Bulama and his team to Microsoft’s West Africa Country Manager, Ola Williams, at her Ikoyi office in Lagos.

Dr. Bulama underscored FRCN’s extensive listenership and the critical role of strategic communication in national development, emphasizing that the collaboration would improve the corporation’s operations through advanced ICT solutions.

Mrs Williams pledged to provide Microsoft’s curriculum to FRCN’s National Broadcast Academy and establish a technical team to cater to the corporation’s needs.

The FRCN delegation included key officials such as Yunusa Tanko, Director of Special Duties; Danladi Kwache, Director of the National Broadcast Academy; Bolanle Owoyemi, Director of Lagos Operations; Askira Sanda, Director of Engineering Services; Princess Adenike Adegoke, General Manager of Bond FM; and Dr. Celestine Achi, ICT Consultant.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen FRCN’s technological capabilities and enhance its contributions to the broadcasting industry.
