Benue State Launches “Operation Anyam Nyor” to Boost Security
Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has launched a new joint security taskforce, code-named “Operation Anyam Nyor,” to tackle insecurity in the state. The taskforce, comprising over 5,000 personnel from the Benue State Civil Protection Guards, was launched at the IBB square in Makurdi.

He expressed confidence that the launch of the taskforce, along with the donation of 100 patrol vans and 600 motorcycles, demonstrates that the battle against insecurity in the state is already won.
