Approximately 200 community leaders, residents, and gatekeepers from Umogidi Community in Otukpo Local Government Area have undergone training on peace building and conflict resolution.
The exercise, facilitated by Environment and Climate Change Amelioration Initiative (ECCAI) with support from the Government of Ireland and Irish Aid, aimed to enhance access to clean water and food for vulnerable communities in Ogoli and Umogidi.
Executive Director of ECCAI, Mrs. Victoria Esa, emphasized the importance of collaboration and sustainable development in addressing water scarcity and food insecurity. She encouraged the community to build trust, foster understanding, and strengthen partnerships to ensure the project’s success.
Mrs. Esa assured that ECCAI would continue to empower the community with necessary tools, knowledge, and platforms.
