Arsenal’s title race is back on track after defeating Leicester City 2-0 on Saturday.

Two late goals from substitute Mikel Merino secured Aesenla’s victory, putting them just four points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Merino came in for struggling Raheem Sterlin and immediately brought life into Arsenal’s game.

Ethan Nwaneri provided an assist for Merino in the 81st minute to put the Gunners ahead, and three minutes later, Merino struck again to break the heart of Leicester.

Ruid Van Nisteroy’s men fought hard to get a win over Arsenal, but the injury-hit Gunners stayed firm all through to earn the vital three points.

With Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli sidelined, Arteta had to rely on Belgian winger Leandro Trossard as his central striker.
