Alleged Defamation: Senator Natasha Sues Akpabio For ₦1.3bn:

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has filed a lawsuit against Senate President Godswill Akpabio for allegedly defaming her.

The suit was filed before the FCT High Court on Tuesday with Akpabio and his senior legislative aide Mfon Patrick listed as second to third defendants.

NASS didn’t reject me, Tinubu did- Nasir El-Rufai:

The former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, has stirred the social media as he asked Nigerians not believe the narrative that the National Assembly rejected him as a ministerial nominee.

In an interview on Arise TV on Monday, El-Rufai said President Bola Tinubu did not want him in his cabinet as the President asked him to suspend his plans for ministerial appointment.
