The motion which recieved backing of the speaker Gabriel Dewan and other members of the house saw the chairman house standing committee on water resources and energy Dagogot Owen assuring that with the implementation of the 2025 budget, the committee will ensure that necessary oversight would be carried out on the ministry to address the challenges.
The house also resolved that water is an important aspect of life and must be given priority as with light, health and education, observed that the lack of water and its inadequate supply is not just persistent in Jos North West , but all over the state hence called for a state of emergency on the sector in Plateau state.
