Nasarawa State Governor Commends Synergy Between Media Organizations and Government
Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has commended the synergy and harmonious working relationship between the State government and the electronic media operating in the State.
Governor Sule gave the Commendation while Playing host to the joint Ramadan lecture Committee who paid a Courtesy Visit at the government house Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The Maiden joint Ramadan lecture which is to hold on Thursday this week,is to enlighten the Muslim faithful on what is expected of them during the period.
Appreciating the Committee members for their foresight in organizing the Ramadan lecture, Governor Abdullahi Sule charged them to ensure that lecture that will be delivered at the event is tilted towards uniting the people of Nasarawa State rather than dividing them.
The State governor showered accolades on the media organizations for their timely and prompt dissemination of government activities in the State urging them to sustain the spirit.
Earlier, leader of the Committee, and the Executive Vice Chairman Nasarawa Broadcasting service NBS lafia, Mallam Auwalu Salihu said they were at government house to inform the State governor about the maiden Ramadan lecture billed for thirteen of this month and to invite him as the Special guest of honour at the event.
Government House Correspondent Dahiru Hassan reports that the Ramadan lecture Committee team Comprises of General Managers of Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, the Executive Vice Chairman Nasarawa Broadcasting service NBS and other members.
