NATE Map Out Strategies to Enhance Engineering Practice in Nasarawa State

Nigeria Association of Technogists in Engineering NATE Nasarawa state branch has mapped out strategies to work closely with relevant professional bodies, government agencies and private organizations towards improving engineering practices in the state.

State Chairman of the Association Abdulkareem Kasali told radio Nigeria precious FM in a chat in lafia that the proposed partnership would focus on organising workshops and trainings to update members on current technologies and ways of promoting engineering education among youths across the state..

Abdulkareem explained that henceforth the Association would insist members adhere to best practices in the Engineering profession and to reduce quacks as well as check unwholesome practices.

The Nasarawa state NATE chairman observed that the state branch went into comatose for years due to some challenges but gave an assurance that with his coming on board, craftsmen,artisans , manufacturers of technology equipment and other engineering professions would be carried along to enhance the quality of their work and ensure best practices.

Abdulkareem Kasali was recently elected chairman of Nasarawa state branch of Nigeria Association of Technologists in Engineering while Yerima Abdullahi of Radio Nigeria North Central zone emerged vice chairman of the organisation
